Absolutely not. Sure, there's some stuff it would be better not to see here but once we start banning content that fails to gain our approval, where do we stop?

You can begin with something sacrosanct, like child porn, that almost everybody agrees is an evil, but what follows from there? We'd end up with all kinds of political and religious censorship that would be untenable.

We can all use our own discretion about what we view, but the problem comes with kids and teens who are impressionable, rebellious, and fascinated by all manner of so-called "adult" material. It would be nice to protect them but I just don't know how that's possible, despite the best efforts of their parents.

You make a good point. What i might call a good adult movie another person sees it as unacceptable pornography. Who has the right to declare other people's tastes as unacceptable. It is human nature to want what we can't or shouldn't have. As a teenager i was told that "R" rated adult movies was pornography & we couldn't watch it so as soon as i got my members card at video ezy i hired out a Pornograpgic R Rated movie.

Thanks for your input.

No; even though some people can be... "ugh." it is a place where people can voice opinions and such without fear of being judged or affected by it in their real life. I feel like cyberbullying should be controlled, but other than that, the internet should allow people to be honest and such. :)

I miss it simply because I haven't been able to find quite a few people on here. :'( Other than that, this site is basically 600% better. :)

No ! Not at all ! Yes, some stuff should be banned but you have to ask yourself : Who will decide what is banned and why? Then who is going to watch the people that are doing the banning. It'll never happen.

No .. But I do believe parents should take more of an interest in what thier own young children have available to them. The world can be a very ugly and pathetic place .. Some places, like the internet is NOT a great playground for children .. At least not without some level of censorship.
