PC or Mac? Honestly, I find PCs easier to use & cheaper, but a lot of people in college get Macs & I don't want to be judged or anything like that. I'm planning on going into engineering. Any thoughts?

I'd have to recommend you go Mac.

Yes, they're more expensive than PCs, but I'd say they are also more reliable, generally perform better, are more durable and also look cooler!

Having said that, there are plenty of PCs out there that will work perfectly well.

And unless you have very specific requirements (such as gaming, needing a retina screen for graphic design etc.. Then there's no need to put limits on what you buy).

Some people worry about having to get used to the Mac's interface though. As an ex-PC user, I can vouch for Mac genuinely being more intuitive than most Windows operating systems (I've heard that Windows 8 is pretty confusing).

And if you have an iPhone, then that could be another reason to invest in a Mac...

Well I'll think about purchasing a Mac maybe in the future. As of now, I'm kinda on a budget so I might just go with a PC. It's only for college so I don't think it'll matter all that much in the long run.

Plus I've always had a dumb phone so I think I'll stick with that for now haha!

But thank you! :)
