I have a serious video game addiction. Is it a bad thing?

That seems to be a major thing now. As long as it's not affecting your school work and your life in general, then don't worry much about it. Heck, I still play PC games every chance I get. Just make sure your schooling comes first.

It depends how serious it is. On one hand, games boost creativity and improve hand eye co-ordination, maybe lowers social skills, but I am pretty sure they make 2 player games for that exact reason. But if you spend all of your time indoors playing games I would reconsider it.
