On my YouTube channel, I am able to Monetize videos, by placing ads on them to get money. I check the Earnings Report every Month, but still $0.00 I don't have a Google Adsense Account created yet, could this be the problem? If not, what?

Yup, you'll need to associate an approved AdSense account before you can start making money on YouTube.

You can also use another Google product, Double-Click for Publishers, to manage the ads on your YouTube account.

Monetizing YouTube Videos

Once you've passed the approval process and verified that you own the content you're posting, you'll need to:

  • Associate an AdSense account
  • Meet the minimum threshold. Before a payment will be issued your earnings need to reach a certain amount that AdSense publishes based on location (in the US I believe you have to earn $100 - you can read more on the AdSense payment threshold page).

I'd also recommend you get acquainted with the YouTube Partner Program too - it's a very useful resource.
