iOS 7 - love it or hate it?

Both. I bought a Samsung Galaxy S3 a year ago because I didn't like the design of iOS. It was stuck in the past. I guess Jony Ive noticed that, and he came with the iOS 7 design.

Most of it looks really good in my opinion. I love the minimalist look of many apps. Some of the homescreen default apps however, look a bit tacky. Especially the gradient backgrounds of the App Store and iTunes app. It kind of ruins the whole experience.

Interesting answer. My last 3 phones were iPhones, and I was really tempted by the Samsung Galaxy s4 but stuck with an iPhone 5 in the end.

Part of my reasoning was that iOS7 would be available shortly.

I do feel that design and UI-wise, Apple have been slow to change anything.

Maybe they were scared of looking like they copied Windows and Google by opting for a "flatter design" - but on the other hand I think everything from design in general has become more streamlined and lost a lot of the excessive ornamentation...

Hi there!
I personally had no problem with any of the operating systems that have been
released till date! They were all compatible with my favourite platform game: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/electricity-game-dashes-high/id963759829?mt=8 and this was enough to
bring me satisfaction! Apple has always been innovative and most iOS launched
have improved the user experience. On the other hand, I cannot say the same
about Android! Viruses, bugs, explosions, clones and copyright infringements have
all spoiled the latter's reputation! You will find more details about the cool
features that came up with iOS 7 in this article: http://www.laptopmag.com/articles/ios-7-features. Hope this helps and all
the best!
