Internal error 1147 is one of the common errors associated with Norton Goback. This may occur if you are unsuccessful in the installation of Norton Goback. This error doesn't allow you to enter the windows or safe made of windows.  There are two methods to remove this error.    First method would be to remove Norton Goback from the MBR i.e. Master Boot Record, this can be done by turning on the computer and press Ctrl + Alt + G simultaneously (you can also press Ctrl and Alt together while swiftly tapping G button on the keyboard). As a result, you will see a message which will tell you to press 'F' button on the keyboard to forcefully remove the Norton Goback from the MBR. The computer can be restarted now. You won't see any error message and the computer will boot normally to the desktop.    The second method would be change the boot sequence in the BIOS and choose the CD device as the first boot device. Now, boot the computer using the Windows installation CD. Enter the Recovery Console and type 'FIXMBR' and hit the Enter key. Restart the computer and check if this has solved your problem, if it doesn't then you will have to go for repair reinstallation of Windows which can be accessed by choosing repair option after booting with the Windows installation CD.
