If Two Electric Fences Have The Same Voltage How Can One Fence Give Off More Of A Shock Then The Other? Explain What Must Be Different About The Electrical Settings Of The Circuit.

If one fence is shorter than the other, that fence will have less resistance.  The amperage is what gives you the shock.  Power (Voltage)/Resistance (Ohms) = Power (Amperage).  The shorter the circuit (wire) the less the resistance, the higher the amperage.  If I add a resistor in line to one fence, that will also lower the amperage.
