Copper, Water, you and I are conductors....anything that ALLOWS the flow of electricity.

Glass, Plastic, Rubber, cardboard, wood, air.....anything that does NOT allow flow of electricity is an insulator.  Hope this helps.....Janes

Conductors: Metal, wood and air air conductors of electricity.  porcelain, rubber and plastic are insulators. Depending on the current flow will depend how conductive a conductor can be. The more humidity in the air will make it a better conductor. Why do you think the buckets that linemen use are lined plastic and would be junk if you drilled holes in them to let the water out. The plastic liner insulates you from the air. When working on hot lines, you're protected at on end with hot gloves and the bucket on the other end. The misconception is that wood and air are not conductors and the truth is they're not good conductors at low voltages. Don't ever use a stick or 2x4 to move a live wire downed in a storm cause you may get zapped.

Copper, Iron are examples for conductors.
Air, Plastic are the examples for insulators
you they are in our daily life

Examples of everyday conductors are forks, knifes, taps, water or anything metal and for everyday conductors you could have wooden broom handles, plastic milk containers and or even air
