Is There A Program Like Graboid But It's Totally Free?

First of all, for those who don’t know, Graboid is a website that lets you watch an enumerable amount of online video, which includes both basic and cable network television shows, at a price. However, their price tiers are quite reasonable, especially when you consider how much you might actually pay for cable or satellite television as well as premium channels.

Obviously, this service could be very beneficial to anyone who has a particular show or channel that they love to watch but just not the time to sit in front of their television during the actual broadcast.

While you might want to find a similar service for free, it is also important to remember that you get what you pay for. With Graboid you can be sure that you are not downloading any malicious files. You also have access to excellent customer service.

Now, there are places where you can go to watch television shows and movies online.

Casttv.com has a collection of "channels” where you can watch your favorite shows online. Typically you can only get a few episodes of recent shows, and access to premium channel programming requires a subscription

Hulu.com also has options for watching television shows (and movies) streaming online.

Worldtvpc.com can give you online access to networks from around the world where you can stream a variety of their programming

Myeasytv.com is similar in that you can search for networks around the world.

Xfinitytv.comcast.net, obviously, is a Comcast based interface that lets you view tv listings in your area, set your DVR reminder, and view on-demand shows for free (even if you aren’t a customer).

Yep I have been with Graboid for about a year now and yes I agree it has been the best thing out there to download movies and tv series but,  They are starting to have major problems with the site i.e. Over the past few weeks thousand of users have been unable to download anything from the site and also many of the more popular o tv series that are being followed have not been upgraded so there are vast amount of people unhappy with the site.  I was a diamond member $29.99 a month with unlimited downloads but have now downgraded to Gold $14.99 and will watch over the next month.  If the situation does not improved I will be leaving.  But have been unable to find anything on the net that comes close not it. So a very disappointed member of graboid.

There is nothing like Graboid. Well, there are but nothing free and there can't be. Graboid is so awesome because you can watch really good quality video. This is possible because of the download speeds. The only reason Graboid has such great speeds is because Graboid is using usenet type or newsgroups downloading. This has been around since before the actual Internet but is pretty confusing to use unless you really know computing. Graboid makes it simple, I know I used newsgroups for years. But, to access those servers, you have to pay the people that run them. Your payment to Graboid is also Graboid paying for you to access the servers. Any other method of downloading from good quality newsgroups is going to cost money as no matter what angle you come at it, you will have to pay to get usenet access to these servers.

Graboid doesnt catch it all the time, not if you make sure to clear your cache and cookies and don't use identical names. You mush have new user emails thats the other thing to which can be a pain after the 10th email. Ive download tons of movies from over 12 different accounts I made through graboid using the new pc user method. Just remember it doesnt work all the time for that is why I am here looking for other methods lol

I have been using Graboid for about 8 months on the Diamond plan and have not experienced any issues with downloading movies or tv shows.   Quality has always been good and current content is quick to appear.    They did a software update about 1 month ago that if you didn't download they warned you would have trouble downloading programs - so perhaps that is the issue with the user above.

You can make a guest profile on your computer and download graboid on that profile and it'll let you get another free trial but do this too many times and they'll block your IP address from opening new accounts. Another way is to turn to torrents which take a little longer and are riskier.

I couldn't agree more with kshutch who posted above me. You won't find anything as good as Graboid. Sure there are plenty of free ways to download movies but NONE of them can compete with Graboid. The selection is enormous, all full length and the download speed is extraordinary. I was amazed when I tried out the free trial and I was happy to shell out a little a month for such a great service. I'm so glad I found them and it's really all I need for movies and tv shows. The Graboid Community forums are really good too and filled with users who are always on hand to help should anyone have any problems at all with it.

There is none like Graboid, check it out for yourself, it's free to start. Then you can decide for yourself the advantages and disadvantages. I for one recommend it!! As Sorbo stated it's peer to peer.
