Structure chart  is used to identify relationship between modules.
Flow chart represents the sequence of events in a process.

Flow chart is easy to understand for beginners.
Structure chart is difficult for beginners to understand as solution is displayed in hierarchical order, like a tree.

Flowchart is to explain processes and A structure chart highlights the relationship between modules. Only rectangles are used in the diagrammatic representation of a structure chart. You can see examples of flowcharts and structure charts in the Creately Templates & Examples

It doesn't matter how old the problem is are you "updated" at all. i improved the question with new information which was lacking (templates and examples) to understand better.

1) it is usually difficult to identify the different modules of a program in flow chart.
2) data interchange amoung different module is not represented in flow chart.
3) sequence ordering of task is suppressed in structure chart.
