Any where basicly, just keep digging, he will be marked as a fossil and if you dig him up you talk to richmond then go to the shop and buy berries, go back to the glacier and dig him up again, while wearing the mask, and give him the berries then every time you find him while wearing the mask, you will get a rare fossil
