There is an easy and simple solution in order to scan on this Canon. On your PC you need to do the following steps. Firstly, you have to go directly to 'devices and printers' on the start menu. After this click on the canon mx300 FAX icon. The window will automatically open on the right hand side. It will then say scanner management. All you need to do is to double click on the link saying 'scan photos or documents'.
If you decide to scan a document, you need to be sure to go to the drop down box saying profile and select a document. After that just click scan at the bottom and wait for the machine to start up and proceed. By this time, your scanning should begin to start and the scanned document should pop up accordingly.
For many years, Canon has had a range of products on the market from cameras to tripods and camcorders. They were actually the first principal makers of the print-engines found in industry-standard laser printers.
Between printer models they are all based on the same Canon print engine, with several parts including things like toner cartridges, fuser units, roller assemblies and other things which are interchangeable. Canon laser printers mainly use ink cartridges. The cartridges come in magenta and cyan as well as black and white. Most cartridges will last at least a couple of months and there should be an ink monitor on the printer which should enable you to check ink cartridge levels. You can buy cartridges from all good specialist electronic shops accordingly.
