Depends, in county facilities there are usually designed for two inmates. However due to the number of offenders incarcerated or awaiting court overcrowding occurs. In those cases additional inmates are warehoused in the same cells. Sometimes 3 or 4 inmates are housed in one cell. But it really depends on the facility. Hope that answers your question.....
