A bad egg is an egg obtained through action replay or gameshark codes. Depending on how many hacks you added, it could go from an annoying egg that never hatches to an all out game destroyer. I have heard that once the really bad ones delete your game the only new starters when you start over will be bad eggs, but I never tried it for obvious reasons.
The bad egg is an egg that will hatch, and hatch, and hatch. Until you turn the game off. Then it can erase your game. If it doesn't, you just wasted 1 slot because you can't put it in pc box. But you can only get one through AR Hacks. Remember MIssigno. You just met his little brother.
Why wont you just put it in your party,go to your pc, go to deposit pokemon and click on it it would show this release sign and press it. Won't it be gone and I'm not the other guest I'm a new one
Yes it IS true, it screws your game, and YES, they can take it apart and delete the bad egg MY HOLE PARTY TURNED INTO THEM WITHOUT AR!! And-how is my Bad Egg Screwball team poisoned?
I havent cheated but 3 of the pokemon in my party turned into bad eggs after a normal battle with a trainer. Does anyone know why this may be? Haven't used action replay and had one global trade over the net.

A bad egg is really bad. If you have it and you didnt save your game, turn it off. It will be as if you never even had the egg. If you keep the bad egg it will destroy your entire game. I don't know if you can get rid of it by throwing it away, but if you choose to do this it might mess up your game. Sorry if this is no help.
A bad egg completely destroys your game data and ruins your game even if you start a new file if you get a bad egg then turn off your game before saving it other wise there is nothing you can do to save your game from destroying itself there is said to be an action replay code somewhere on the internet somewhere that can turn a bad egg into a regular egg. I have searched for it but have found nothing.
Hey sorry about your bad egg. But heres how you fix it. Once you get it shut off your game right away! Don't save. If you have use the hacking device you used to get it in the first place. Action replay has a code. Ive seen it. I don't know about game shark. I had a bad egg like 10 minutes ago. I was trying to get a legit 2010 World championships shiny eevee And I got a bad egg!! I was freaked out... All I did was shut it off and it was fine. I am still worried but I checked everything and its ok. OK BYE BYE ACTION REPLAY!
Well if it was a global trade it can mess up your game especially since it was an egg you traded if you saved it its pretty much too late. But you can just by a second hand game of the one you had or you can get action replay and use it too delete the bad egg. And when you said over the net the person probally used cheats a lot Hope this helped.
I read some where that it doesn't screw your game but I'm NOT going to try it out and its obvious why, did get 1, I'm really curious about them I read that its NOT the missingno that wreaks your game, it the 'M
Well really it doesnt destroy the game its a glitch to show youve been cheating its what the desighners put on to show you what happens when yoou cheat oh and I used a code and my bad hatched into my cheat pokemon that I wanted so uh happy cheating!
I don't know much about the Bad Egg, but I would suggest using one of the cheat codes mentioned in other answers. I got a Bad Egg once on platinum. I had a lvl 100 Shiny Ho-oh I got from the GTS, and I sent it put in a double battle, alongside a ditto. Ditto uses Transform, turns into Ho-oh, blah blah blah, Ditto faints. Seeing as how Ditto and Ho-oh were the only pokemon in my party, I use a Revive on Ditto. Ditto is revived, then up comes "Bad Egg got over it's status trouble!" and I freaked. I turned of my DS straight away, and fortunately my Platinum game is fine now :)
