Mine did the exact same thing last week while watching a movie. Thought it was the special effects at first! Ours started to buzz loudly so we shut it off, then as it cooled down, the internal screen cracked.
It was 3 weeks outside of being 1 year old...and Visio wouldn't even touch it :( Need a new one, but not a vizio this time.
